Accrington

ACCRINGTON is a town in the Hyndburn borough of Lancashire, England. It lies about 4 miles east of Blackburn, 6 miles west of Burnley.
Accrington is famous for it’s brick making past, the world at large remembers the NORI brick, which was used in the construction of the Empire State Building. However locally the people fondly remember the Accrington red brick or redac, and many people in Lancashire still live in houses constructed using these bricks.
